	PRIVACY POLICY Your right to privacy is very important to me. In accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Sharan Jackson-Rimmer (Driving Instructor)/Chequered Flag Driving School (referred to below as “we”, “us” or “I”), am required to obtain, store and process certain confidential and personal data from you. This data will be stored on a secure mobile phone and laptop that is password protected and only I have sole access to. My assurance to you is that your data will not be shared or sold to any third party and will be deleted after you have passed your driving test or if your training ceases unless you state otherwise. As a member of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), I am required to report any breach (loss or theft) of your data within 72 hours. Being a self-employed driving instructor, I am required by the Inland Revenue to retain certain data for a seven year period for inspection. This includes your name, telephone numbers, date of birth, address, driving licence information, test dates, test results and method of payment. There are mobile cameras (dash-cams) fitted to my tuition vehicle for your safety and security. They face outwards and do not video the interior of the vehicle. Footage would not be published on a public platform, and is not kept long term (typically recordings are overwritten every few days). It can be made available to you for training purposes upon request. A copy of your driving test will be burnt to DVD for you to keep and then the source deleted. To celebrate passing your driving test I will like to take a photograph of you – this will be posted along with your name onto Facebook. You are entitled to refuse to have your photograph taken if you prefer.
